today was going to be our day off after a big Sunday. But Sunday ended up being not so big and Monday a little bigger I guess!
the main reason for that is a Cambodian Holiday called Pchum Ben - the festival of the dead. Yeah pretty gruesome sounding hey! But it's not like zombie celebration day, it's a different sort of spiritual danger really. sometimes you work hard to press into Gods plans, but other times it's like the fish jumps into the boat. That's what happened to us today.
it was day 2 of tourist activity, or that's how it felt anyway. Xave and I had plans to go to Kid City in town, which is a 10 storey kids games building- kinda dream land for kids I think. it is the end of Day 3, and through the wonders of technology I can fast track it to you (though this is my third rewrite so technology is not that amazing right now!)
day 1 was travel day, and the lesson was: don't arrive at midnight when traveling with kids. Ok will get that one straight next time!
